What do you guys think its worth?

Hey guys,
My dad is looking at getting an FD and we wanted to see if the price seems fair. I have a GSL-SE/TII, but don't have alot of FD experience. Here is what I know. Its not alot of info, but here we go:

Red 93 FD
5-speed
100K+ miles on chassis
5200miles on mild streetported rebuild
Apexi Intake
Aftermarket Exhaust
Parallel Turbos
Body clean except for light rear bumber scrape and damaged quater panel marker lens.
Interior in good shape except missing door scuff plates.

They are wanting $12,000.

Thanks in advance.

Its worth what ever you are willing to pay. But I would get compression numbers before spending that kind of money. But the price they are asking is fairly typical.

Thanks BackyardSog. I thought the price was in the right area for a recent rebuild with basic bolts-on.

If the car is running right (good compression), has good paint and a good interior; that price IMO is a little low. Check the paint and the interior to see if those need some work.

The paint looks good and the interior looks good. Besides the bumper scrape and lens mentioned in the OP, its clean.

Well, then get a Carfax and a compression test done. If those check out, you might have a good deal on your hands.

$12k seems about right for a high mileage 93. Definately get a compression test and carfax, as Mahjik said, and you'll be good to go.

so long as everything checks out that seems like a decent price.
