Question What do you guys think about this one?

heres one on ebay for 9 grand. it looks nice and is super clean but it doesnt say much bout the condition other than "it runs great". and for 9 is liek the best you you can find for a FD. but its been said before that car that low will probably have a lot of problems. what do you guys think is the average price range for a FD in good condition and reasonable miles, and this is YOUR oppinion not Kelly Blue Books or anythign else like that.

Looks good.........

BUT watch out pics can be so deceiving!

I checked it out, IMO I say jump on any car that looks that good for that price. Even if the powertrain is completely shot (which is doubtful) you can always rebuild everythng and now you have a FD w/ new powertrain for under what most ask for their cars nowadays.

Sometimes I regret not buying that VR R1 near Philly. I cld of had her for about $9k. But it needed some serious TLC inside/out and under the hood. But it wld of made a fun project car.

Gdluck!

Not factual ! ! ! !

This car has a 5-speed with (overdrive) very rare. It's a 93 with (dual) airbags....again rare on a 93 Factory Blaupunkt AM/FM stereo Cassette
9000 rpm tachometer with 8000 rpm redline Factory radio's were made by Clarion and tach. redline starts at 7500.....Hell it does look good. Go for it.

Fifth gear is overdrive on all manual FDs from the factory; the ratio is 0.719. Fourth is 1.0. And the redline is at 8000 RPM (on manuals), but as you can see in the picture, the tach has some red lines beginning at 7500. All 93s have this. In 94 they reduced the number of tick marks on the gauges, but I think they still have a red tick at 7500 (but I'm not totally sure). The buzzer sounds at 7500 RPM, redline is 8000, and the rev limiter hits at 8300 RPM.

The dual airbags does seem a little fishy as they started that in 94, AFAIK. Also, while it is clearly a Blau head unit, I doubt it was installed by the factory.

Looks like a very nice car. I expect the price will go up as people see it on eBay.
