What do you guys think about my profec B?

I had it installed and everything worked good until the other day i noticed it wasnt turned on..Well i hit the power button and nothing.I checked the power and the grounds and still nothing..I noticed on the wire the power wire which is red had the plastic been burnt so i cut that off and reconnected it and still no power..Do u think the black box in the car with all the settings could be shott..

Thanks
Kevin

im no electronic genius (or any type of genius for that matter) but if what you're saying is that you had a section of burnt installation on the power wire then it sounds to me like something may have grounded out. check to make sure nothing is crosswired and that there are no connections that could touch eachother, etc...

yea, its definitly your coolant seals........

on a more serious note, try re-wiring the profec because you might have an exposed positive.

this means you have 0 boost control keep that in mind. power to the profec but having it off is lowest boost. no power at all to it is no boost controller.

use a multimeter and check power to the red line, if there is, you need to buy yourself a new profec b cuz you burned yours out
