What do you guys think about this FD

1993 Mazda RX-7 Twin Turbo R1 Edition. Only 47,XXX miles on the car. Engine completely rebuilt with only 3,200 miles, heavy street-port, rotors refaced, new ceramic apex seals (very expensive), all new gaskets and seals, bullet-proof, built buy the Rotary Doctor and his son in Neosho Missouri, manual boost controler with turbos turned to stock 10psi.

We have only had the car about 8 months, but I lost my job after owning the car about 3 months. We need to sell and get rid of the payments! Sorry, no trades, and the bank will not let you take over payments. The car must be "sold" to transfer the title.

Body Mods: Full carbon fibre front end (bumper, hood, fenders) all from C-West, new '99 spec turn signals.

Engine/Tranny Mods: New shifter bushings, Apexi S-AFC, Walbro Fuel Pump, full 3" exhaust, generic cone intake, larger radiator with electric fan, stock twin oil-coolers. Comes with 2 sets of stock wheels powder-coated black.

Car runs and drives great but needs to be re-dynotuned on it's S-AFC computer. It is still tuned VERY rich for the engine break-in. The break-in is done and can now be tuned for maximum power!

Very Fast! Very Reliable! Interior does need some pieces, door panels have some broken pieces, passenger window motor needs replacing, and I blew the air bag. I forgot to take the negative battery terminal off when removing the stock bumper!!!!

CLEAN CARFAX!! NEVER WRECKED!!

Thanks,

for $9900, it'll sell fast as hell. You could easily get $15-16k for it, but you'd have to wait for someone who's not there to kick tires.

A lot of people are complete morons when they look into buying these cars.

Ohhh, you're the buyer. The way you posted that ad, it seemed like you were selling.

Yeah, for that price, it's worth checking out, I'd just be cautions of the S-AFC and the price seems really low. There's probably a reason it's been for sale for so long.

I don't know of any reputible shops in your area, but try your local regional section to see if you can get someone who knows FDs to check it out for you.

yea sorry about not saying I was planning on buying i copyed his ad. I also have his e-mail to me... Its an old e-mail its from when he just put it on the market so keep that in mind.

The car has been for sale for about 2 weeks now (thought we had it sold but someone wrote a bad check). The title is clear (no accidents, no anything), I just ran a CarFax this week because lots of people wanted to see it, so I will attach it with some pics. The engine was pulled and rebuilt due to busted seals and was semi-race preped by the previous owner. VIN: JM1FD3316P0200539 We have not taken the car anywhere but around town in Hannibal, we have only been back in this area for 4 months. Before, we were in Springfield Mo, and I drove the FD 5 hours from Springfield to Hannibal (loud but fun drive). We cannot afford the car after moving and changing jobs, so we do not drive it but maybe one-a-week to prevent a dead battery.

and he sent the carfax and it was clear

also, fwiw, the rotary doctor is known for some good stuff from all i have heard.

and my .02- get it, grab a PFC, check reliabilty mods, grab a set of new plugs and drive to STL w/ me on September 27 and 28th to get tuned by Steve Kan. A group tune is being setup and we need a 5th man. do it!

It would probably sell a little faster if it was one color.
