Depends on quality and so forth. I just bought an ARC for 400$ then Im spending another 100$ in aluminum IC plumbing so thast about 500$ for a decent Front Mount. If it looks good then go for it.

Even if piping is $500, with a $300 dollar intercooler... thats a pretty good deal. Its nice looking also.

Thats the one I won. I went to the plumbing place around here and got quoted 100$. So thats a total $540 for a kick *** intercooler. Look around, and make sure its made for a 7, custom endtanks are pricey.

Ya, my dad scoured the internet for that one (he has a black FD) but Im not sure whos car that will go into (hopefully mine). The only downside to the universal ones are fitment and also the likeliness of them not having end tanks (from what Ive found). Also if you dont really have alot of cash. Look for some SRT-4 rich ricers, and see if they have replaced their stock IC. There is someone on the forums that used that IC on their car, they say its working well to this day.

Will do, this guy has a muffler shop but he does mandrel bent plumbing for cash on the side. I saw the job he did on a T-66 MR2 and it was extremely well done, maybe 1/2 an inch off at the most. Since the couplers are semi flexible it gave it a good snug fit.

Any chance he could ship out piping given either a premade piece or a set of instructions? He could make alot of cash off of this site that way.
Also, does anyone know someone that makes custom V-mount kits using pre-existing radiators and ICs?

Cool....I guess if anyone does an IC job using custom piping, post the specs up here so if anyone uses the same IC, they will have ready made plans for it.

I have found the 2.75" piping is a less common size than the 2.5", and thus more expensive.

The inlet/outlet on that IC is 2.5", so you will need to reduce from the 2.75" on your car.

Ask your local muffler shop how much they will charge you, they usually have equipment to mandrel bend piping. Thats where Im getting my stuff done.

If it's 2.5" inlet and outlet you'll need to cut out those tubes from the endtanks and cut the holes larger and weld in 2.75" stubs. It would be pointless otherwise. I won't touch the rest of the topic. : )
