What do u guys think?
ok well as some of u saw my post with my car rolling into the fence. well i got it back a few days ago and...
1. he never put the rock/chip Guard on so thats the only spot that dosnt have it
2. the line between the bumper and quarter pannel isnt even and smooth
so i know for sure i gotta go back and get them fixed, but when i picked it up it was in the shade so the paint looke the same well when the sun hit it (bright sun) it look to orange
so my question is, who here has gotten a piece painted on there car, and is that normal? or should i have it redone? cause ive never had to get that done with a car b4, so im not sure if i should get it repainted
heres a pic that u can kinda tell but its hard to see in the pic

Tyler you must have really good eyes. I can't tell a difference. It would probably be easier to tell if you had a picture with more of the car (i.e. from a farther distance) in sunlight with no flash.
dude, that has to be redone. You sound like a nice guy, man, but sometimes you have to step up and let people know that their work is not up to par. If they refuse to repaint your car, then I would go to the store buy some orange spray, and paint their ****.

Just to reiterate, that paint job is HORRIBLE. It is NOT the same paint code as stock, gauranteed. I have a half-repaint on my car and, while the front half has some oxidation and fading, you can still tell they are the same color code!

That is unacceptable. Take it back.
Keep in mind that red fades more than most other colors and even if it's matched today, it doesn't garuntee that it will match in a month, especially if it's exposed to lots of sun.

Was the rear quater panel replaced, or just repainted?! It looks like it was replaced, and it isn't lined up with the door worth ****. It could just be that the door needs to be realigned, or it just might be the angle of the picture. It you look, there's a larger gap up by the handle of the door, and a smaller gap in the middle of the door, then gets larger again at the bottom of the door.
Edit: Just saw the second picture you posted. The gaps don't look near as bad in that picture. It appears the door just needs to be realigned.
As far as the paint, i'd go back and make them re do it. That doesn't match what so ever.

i totally agree with the above posts, just a bad job!
i had a small (3") scratch on my rear quarter and had it repainted because it drove me crazy.
it is impossible to tell what was repainted and my car was silver (tricky color).
please search under my name and find the thread, where i have before and after pics

It's DIRTY? It should come out of the shop completely spotless!
Did they actually replace the rear 1/4? That is an extremely difficult job to do CORRECTLY....I had rear 1/4 work done by one of the best shops in the Bay Area and they preferred not to muck with replacing the panel unless it absolutely had to be done.
It looks like the whole thing was a complete hack job...
I apologize for the low-res pics and this was in the setting sun, so the paint appears orangish, but here's a QUALITY rear repaint and repair...

yeah bro, from VR owner to another VR owner, please get that repainted! They did a horrible job! My paint is original 93, and it looks "redder" (no, that's not a word, I know) than what they did!
Sorry man...
