nah dude, the air thing really works, before when i used to launch my car, the tires would just spin and spin, but now that i changed it with some j-spec air, the front picks up about 1foot when i launch.

How about removing unneeded weight to get better performance. Besides improving driving skills, removing weight is the next best thing to making your car faster without spending more money.
Rip your entire interior out! Remove the undercoating! Remove them speakers and crap you don't need. Plus when you remove the sound deadening material, you will definitely notice how much more you hear your engine and exhaust. No need for a bigger can to hear the exhaust note, with no sound insulation, you can hear it very well!
Have fun!
Remove the hood. It would allow for super engine cooling without the expense of a vented hood.
OR..
Mold a new hood out of chicken wire and paint it black. That might even start a new fad. remove 1 lug nut from each wheel so you reduce the rotational weight.

Mind you, when I wax, I do the cleaner and then a polisher. I'll probably buy the 3rd step for waxing from Meguiar's this weekend so now it will take longer. Man, I'm going to smell like gas this weekend!

Then people will start going into a flame war on what is really a "race" car and what's not. You know, "real" cars are open-wheeled....blah blah blah....if you can race competitively amongst a group of similar prepped cars or drivers, I call that racing!
Have fun! I think I'm going to do some cleaning up work this weekend too!
whatever you do, dont get the air that apc sells, it is really cheap and a knock off of a completly different car company. But apparently everyone is using it for their cars, mostly hodnas though.
I reccomend that you dance around the car in a lime green speedo and shake used motor oil on the paint while singing "Paradise by Dashboard Lights" that gives you 10 additional HP when racing Honda's.
