I bought this exact diff brace . But I dont know what brand it is . , and what that red goop is
I'd like to try and find out who makes htem to see if I can see the install directions even though its really straight forward LOL
Want to know if I need to do something about htat red goop thats by the diff

Only install instructions you need are maybe the torque specs when reinstalling. Just don't tighten any of the nuts/bolts down until you're able to thread on the rest of them first.

I'd recommend having that brace re-powder coated. I think that is the nastiest one I've ever seen.
Be very (very) careful torquing the hardware that goes to the frame, those suckers are very easy to strip out.... more than half of the FDs I have my hands on have at least once of those stripped.

I agree with the hardware that goes on the frame, don't force anything on... you'd think the threads there would be a bit more robust.

My mounting bolts have been modified to hold SAE course threaded bolts. I stripped one out without even trying. I figured if my sissy hands with a socket and a driver could do that, no way it would hold clutch drops.

but mostly for auto-x where we still launch the cars and I was getting wheel hop which I dont like
