What did the Spirit R retail for in Japan??

I'd like to know how much the Spirit R retailed for in Japan before it went out of Production. Some are saying it retailed for more than the 8 does now.

Me and a buddy went and saw one at a dealership. It was a while ago but I think it was 2,800,000Y if I remember right.

I'm sure it would be more than a RX8. The 1994 and 1995 models here in the US were more than a RX8 and that was a decade ago.

I've got the sticker on my 1995 PEP.... was $42,500

Course they might not cost as much there since there isnt all the crap to worry about to get it across the borner and to be DOT approved.

Damn, the 95 was that much?? I was looking at the sticker on my 93 cym R1 and its $32,720. Its hard to believe the 95 was almost $10K more. Gee I wonder why the 3rd gen only lasted 3 years, they were damn expensive, lol.
