What is the deal with this twin ignition harness?

Not sure what is going on with this harness I received with my twin ignition from a forum member. Why is one of the wires clipped?

Better yet, can somone post me a picture of the wiring on their twin ignition so I can compare?

Thanks

it's not the best of picture, sorry.

It is hard to tell, but it seems that one of the wires was just accidently cut.

Remove the pin, crimp/solder it back on, re-insert. No rocket science here.....no discussion needed

Simply wanted to verify that it was not disconnected intentionally but after looking at the wiring for a while I came to that conclusion a while ago.

the reason the wire is clipped is cuz that looks like the "universal" flying lead harness that comes with the PFC

not the adapter harness clip that u buy seperately..

I bought my Twin power new.. and the adapter harness new

when I opened the HKS box.. it had the same ring clip terminated grounding wire and a bunch of other wires with bare ends..

looks like he might have "made" his own adapter..

Just my opinion tho

if u don't believe me I can take a pic of the thing I'm talking about and the ring terminal is indentical

That is a possibility but again, I have no way of verifying it until I can compare this harness against someone's with an Rx-7 specific harness. Also, it still does not answer the question of why the wire was clipped --- I already fixed it but I would like to know what his logic was behind doing this, maybe he had a resistor or some other kind of wiring spliced in between?

Now I am just curious more than concerned
