What is the deal with this intake. HKS?

I had those filter elements for more than 2 years,I take them once evry three months and wash them in soapy water and look how clean it still is.You dont have to replace evry 5k,but if you have spare change why not.

Yes. The problem is they don't come pre-oiled. Most people just slap them on the car and start driving because they don't realize foam filters "require" oil to trap particles. I used to get my oil from a motorcycle shop just down the street. It's nasty, sticky stuff.

I am sold. I have to get these. Plus the SMF I just bought is not going to work with my MED SMIC, it sits about as far as this v-mount does. I am already selling the almost brand new SMF for what I paid $225.00. Pm me if someone wants it.

Hey man, you should contact Jason from RX7store on that HKS RS intake kit. He'll give you a great price on them. I just recieved mine, and man are they beautiful. No other intake kit can compare when it comes to looks.
