What is this connector for? just sitting there

When I took off my airbox I noticed this wire was disconnected but I have no clue where it goes as it was bundled together. There is a close up and a far away pic for location.

It looks like one of the fan relay connectors, but it's hard to tell by the blurry photo...

ok, I have another wiring question. I pulled off the top of the y pipe and there was this connecter with a blue housing around it just chillin. I will take a pic as soon as my batteries are charged for my camera....does anybody have a clue?

I dont know about the little black connector, my car doesn't have it unless it's inside the loom, but the blue one is for California cars I hear. I live in california but my car is from Missouri so it was disconnected when I got it.

If that black connector is a single insulated spade connector (hard to tell in the pics), I have the same thing. My fan's all work just, as verified by a temp gauge & switch-on temps, so I never investigated it.
