what is this conector

I'm trying to track down a boost problem, and I found this connector unplugged under the presure tank(the blue one). Can anyone tell me what it is?

Also, as far as my boost problem goes... my primary spools up fine, but the secondar ydrops off to around 7ish(psi). I'v been going through the trouble shooting guides, and checked the intake piping, and the valves that go to the airbox. Charge control actuator moves with KIKO test so I assume vacume tank holds presure ok, the presure tank holds presure. Pre-Control Solenoid moves when i put presure on it. Any recomendations on what I might look at next?

Cheers,
Dale

I concur. It is the EGR switch connector. (Which I understand to be a sensor that detects the current state of the EGR valve.) Few cars have the thing it connects to, so it hangs loose on most cars.
