what clutch do you have???

hey guys, i know that this has been discussed but in a different manner. i just want to know a few things. what clutch did you get, why did you get it, what racing do you do if any, would you have bought another clutch if given the chance, and input "how you like the clutch". i have been very partial to clutchmaster but not many here have used it, and i would say mostly due to the price of it. feedback guys as many will find this information to be rather useful.

ACT street clutch. I bought it because it's good for street/daily driving. More importantly, it can handle and deliver a lot of power.

I got a Mazdaspeed twin plate clutch. I daily drive with it too. Once your familiar with it, it's pretty easy. I chose it because it can handle a lot of power. The other one I was considering is the OS Giken or the RE Amemiya twin plate. My brother has the OS Giken and it seems a little bit easier and smoother then my Mazdaspeed.

Stock clutch. I was replacing my engine and was looking for an inexpensive (ha ha) clutch kit. I found that Clutch City in Florida 727-449-0062 would sell a stock FD clutch kit for $299.50 plus shipping. It has OEM markings and is smooth.

ACT Street/Stip Clutch disk, with ACT Extreme Pressure Plate. I got it because of recommendations by forum members and am very happy with it. It's mainly a street driven pleasure car (weekends only) with the occasional trip down the 1/4 mile.

ACT Street/Strip, Bought ACT because I've seen just about all kinds of clutches on different cars and ACT's hold up very well. Street/Strip cause it fit my needs, stock pedal feel, great for daily driving, and can hold alot of power.

HAd an ACT stage 3 with stock fly/pressure. DIdnt work out too well. Excellent power transfer, but very brutal on the drivetrain. So brutal that the clutch spring snapped when my friend dropped the clutch while driving it and it threw out the rear seals, and i had to replace the pressure plate and the fly. I got the stocker on right now, its ok. I chirped it in 3rd the other day. WOot

Not sure if anyone's heard of this one... but I have a McLeod Revlock... works like a charm... but not for those who don't have good control of their left leg.
