what clutch is the best for street

well i burnt an act stret strip in six months. i did a messed up power stand with me not knowing i had the clutch pushed in slightly. so its toast.

what is the best streetable clutch thats lasts?

i was looking at the clutch masters stage three or another act. i know it was my fault that the clutch only lasted six months. no more power stands for me. thanks

mods

Clutch masters and centerforce are the two worst clutches for a RX7.
I've had both. The best setup for your car is an ACT street/strip w/ the extreme pressure plate. This will hold anything you can dish out and still be street friendly.

I'm with Ernie.

I'm really surprised that you burnt out your ACT so quickly. Did you break it in properly? Everyone I know that has ACTs (including myself) has had them last for quite a long time

i broke it in i was trying to be cool and do a power stand. i just had gotten off work and was still in my big steel toe boots and couldnt feel the clutch pushed in slighty. so i had smoke comming out of the hood and the burnt clutch smell was in my car for a long while.

how much harder is the peddel feel with the extreme pressure plate than the heavy duty? i really dont want too much heavier than the clutch i had. thanks guys
