Screw the quarter mile. Worry about lap times.

ive never done lap times before. I currently have a 98 subar impreza that runs 12.2's @ 107mph. Just wondering how my new rx7 with the current mods will hold up. I would consider my self to be a pretty good driver.

any ideas. low 13's/ high 12's? I dont know what mods and how much power they achieve. As I stated, Im brand new to the world of rotary and RWD

I would expect low 13s with a good run, but there are just too many variables to give you a solid, "it will run X time.." . As someone said above, spend some time searching through old threads and see what other people have done with around the same mods. I ran a 13.5@105 with comparable mods on my 1st time out, spinning though 1st and 2nd. Ive owned Rx-7s for the past 6 years though, and I know the car is capable of more with traction and better shifting.

With your mods probably high 12 second and low 13 second runs. Tune to 12 psi and should be mid to low 12 seconds depending upon your launch.
