what to buy?

I just bought a 93 RX-7 about 2 months ago. All I have is a turbo timer on it. I just bought a downpipe and I am looking at different intakes and exhausts. I was looking at the Blitz SUS intake and the Blitz TT exhaust. What I really want to know is what are the best intakes and exhausts for the RX-7.

thanx,
Mike

Well, if you haven't replaced or eliminated the AST yet, that should be your next project. After that, you should install a Boost Gauge so if something starts to go wrong you have at least something to help.

After that, you should put on your downpipe and then go for a new cat-back. As far as cat-backs go, they are all good. Just depends on what type of look you want (single or double).

Yes you definetely want a boost gauge before you do any upgrades. As far as exhaut components to me they are all about the same just looks and wether they are stainless or not. Intakes I like the new Apexi Power Intake since it does not use oil for the element like the K&N use, again I don't think the intakes are that different from one to another unless they come with a blockoff plate to get cool air like pettit or n-tech for example.
