What brand coolant? (Not Evans)

Hey guys,
I'm getting ready to flush my coolant and wanted to know what brand people are using nowdays. I used the regular prestone (green) in the past, but seems that's been discontinued and they only have the yellow, and the orange stuff now.

There was a thread about this as to wether the yellow stuff is ok to use or not, but had no conclusion to it.

What about the generic brands (Advanced/Napa/etc...)?
I'd like to stick with a name brand, but that's just me being weird, I guess.

And no, I don't want to switch to Evans . I read all the pros and cons in the several dozen threads, and decided it's not for me.

Thanks all

I suggest long life zerex G05. Proven over the decade as mercedes brand coolant. A lot of new "long life all make" coolants are too much like dexcool, that likes to leak and has other issues.

I don't think they discontinued it. Just changed their labeling to say it could be mixed with others safely. I just picked up a gallon less than a month ago and noticed that the labeling had changed, but it was still the flourescent green and yellow color when poured out of the container.

Mazda dealers sell a green, long life, 5 year coolant. It's not overly expensive and one container is more than enough to do a coolant change. Works for me. I'm very happy with it.
The harder decision was what concentration to put in. If I remember correctly, I think I'm at about 60% demineralized water and 40% anti-freeze.

25%-50% Dexcool, one bottle Water Wetter, the rest distilled water.
The % of Dexcool depends on where you live. I use 25% in Texas.

Been using this for 6 years.

I would use less antifreeze for this summer/hot weather. The more actual water you have the better. 70/30 or 80/20 split.
