What to block off or remove?

Ok I have been reading about people removing and blocking off a bunch of stuff from their engine but every one who is talking about it seems very advanced and knowledgeable so the terms they are using I dont comprehend.

I am just wondering everything that I could/should remove to make my car less seceptible to problems.

I live in Florida and we dont have emissions so I would like to remove all of that stuff and any thing else I can.

I have a 93 with a dp, mp, cb, and intake.
I will be getting the Power FC soon so should I wait untill after I get that to remove everything or will it be fine on the stock ECU.

Thanks

Wait until you get a PFC, then you can remove a bunch of stuff with out getting error codes.
Do you plan on staying sequential or going non sequential or single?

Ive removed many-a-thing under the UIM with the stock ECU and ive found the check engine light is sporatic....some days it wont come on at all, sometimes it comes on within 5min of driving, and others it takes 30min.
