what is the best strut tower brace?

Hey guys,

I am beginning to consider getting a front strut tower brace for my '93 touring. I was wondering if the brace is worth the money too get...and if so, which is the best one? Thanks in advance for your help!

Most people like the stock R1-R2 STB. but it's a little expensive and more difficult to find. However, the cusco STB are just as good and you can pick one up for about $150.

HAHAHAHA ... I never thought I'd live to see the day that someone would say that a CUSCO product is only "just as good" as something else.

CUSCO hands down, above all else.

Cusco.

you can honestly shake a car violently just by holding onto the bar. that cant be said about other cheap STB-equipped cars, where you can actually feel the bar flexing.

I went out and tried that. Grabbed on to the bar and waited. Nothing. Not even "bar-flex".

As Johnny said,
The stock one looks the coolest. However, everybody I asked said the Cusco was the stiffest.

I assume this is the one you mean?

Is there any issues with the top/back of it clearing stuff?
