As far as the ducting question, post #13 may be of some help:

IIRC it's a greddy style flange that's welded on.

^^^ That's what I was thinking.

and as far as the duct is concerned no one is currently making one for that size core. Pettit will sell you their cool charge III which is too large for this one, but fits perfectly on the 12x18 core.

On a further note about Greddy BOV's, don't buy a Type RS. They're junk. Type S's are great, especially the uber-hard to find black version from Japan. But of course you can always get an adapter or cut that flange off and weld on whatever style flange you need for the BOV that you really want. Go on youtube and search for different BOV's like the HKS SSQV, Turbo XS RFL, and Blitz DD to see what you like.

I like the Blitz DD because it sounds like the stocker, I have it welded on the Greddy elbow

But it comes with a Greddy style flange, why would you do that?

Its actually a smaller flange then the Greddy, I've heard its the same size as a Blitz flange, and that a blitz will bolt right up.

I cut the flange and turned it 90 degrees and welded it back on so I could fit an Apexi BOV on it. I prob. have a picture of it somewhere.

That's weird, I remember the Type RS I had fit perfectly on mine. I wonder if they just have a bunch of different flanges and pick from random when making these?

I heard Greddy's BOV tend to leak at high boost... never ran a greddy before on my rx7 that is.. always had a HKS . ebay and the real version. BOTH work and sounds the same!!

and if you still want to use ur stock one just replace that tube with a regular "SHORT RAM INTAKE TUBE" which i believe is the same lenght as the one that comes with the ebay IC . had 1 of those before!

Maybe so... I got mine from a guy who bought the kit at least 3 years ago...
The flange was way smaller then the Greddy one

HKS Super SQV (new version) sounds nice. I run it on my FD and haven't had any problems with it... its really all up to what you want though. Kaugh kaugh (HKS)
