What About Putting a Renesis Engine in an FD RX-7??

Just wondering... has anyone ever thought of doing this before? The Renesis doesn't have turbo... but it still has almost the same amount of power that the RX-7 had at stock. From what I understand, it is much more reliable... and the major reliability problem with the RX-7 lies in the motor. So... is this possible, has anyone done it? Seems like it would be a cool project.

I believe you are the first person to ever think of this or even ask a question about it on this forum or any other forum. I think we should post a topic at the very top of this forum about this, in your honor.

whilst on paper it nearly has the same HP, it's the area under the curve that counts.... the renesis is very peaky, so it's a considerably slower engine. That and they are proving unreliable owing to the PP

Guys I think you're being a little hard on him.

See you don't understand that he was frozen alive in 1998 and just thawed earlier this week. He missed everyone having this mind-numbingly lame idea immediately following the debut of the RX-Evolve in 1999.
