What is this?

What is the cable with the blue and orange clips on the left hand side of the engine bay near the abs? the cable runs all the way up to the front and is connected to a box that is mounted right behind the front bumper.

I believe that is part of the air bag system.

it is part of the airbag system, it's the PS airbag. it goes to the sensor under the front bumper

on the DS, that cable runs under the fender but for some reason the one on the PS doesn't so i unplugged it and ran it under the fender like it should have been originally and it fits perfectly, no splicing or anything
