Went to RE-Amemiya yesterday...saw Japan's fastest FD...

Ok well the TOLD me it was the fastest FD in Japan, but I don't know if they were tellin the truth...

Here are a few pics I took there...

ooooo so pretty

oh yey i look so happy. but i wish i brought my FD with me!!!

oh yah i stopped at a mazda dealership on the way back, and check this out...back seats! they are STOCK too, as in from the factory. the guy in the dealership told me that most FDs in japan come with back seats...hmm 2 inches of leg room doesnt give much room for back seats, but i guess since everyone in japan is so small it works out.

japan is so awesome

RE-Amemiya has grown since I saw it last.

Any more pics of your trip. I'm into the JC Cosmo, noticed a pic of ones tail in the background. Did you get any shoots of them.

RE-Amemiya may have one of the fastest but there is no fastest for all races and tracks.

RE-Amemiya hasnt changed for ever. This shop that is now just RE-Amemiya was called GRIEFF before which was a branch of RE-Amemiya, but not anymore, them combined.

More pix of RE-Amemiya, however more pix in general would be great. I haven't been to Japan in like 2 years. Also, like someone else brought up. Wow Amemiya has grown... The FC they had out look's to be the FC 2000 RE Super G. Sweet....

I was last there in '00. I'll be sure and stop by again in January, after TAS '04 of course!!!!

Is the shop in Chiba still there? Here's a pic of the white FD from a couple years ago.

The interior build quality on the 99+ FD's are soooooooooo much better.

All they have for customers now is thew CHIBA one.

As for it growing, this shop hasnt changed since the dawn of time..

neo_omega--The fender hasnt actually changed, just the CF cover for a little bit of a new look

The RE FD is by far the most beautiful FD i have ever seen. Personally im saving up for the kit, but i doubt i will ever be able to afford it

There is a track in japan that they consider the car with the best lap to be the fastest car in Japan. At one time this FD held the title, but now i think a wrx or evo has it. But it is still considered the fastest FD.

When I was there in '98 there was only four 7's total. I count 11 or so cars in the pic's.
The shop itself is the same, but it look's like the business has grown.
Great for Amemiya.
