check the hose from the turbos to the BOV. they crack over time.

You may need to tighten the spring up on the BOV - the spring may not be holding pressure well. Either that or some dust/dirt/whatever is keeping the BOV from fully closing.

i noticed when it was working ok, when i was just going into boost there was a hissing like there was pressure being released. now im not getting this and all im getting is this high pitched whistle type sqeal noise. could it be that the valve is'nt opening properly and forcing air to escape from somewhere

just tightened the screw on the valve and still whistling, the dump valve still goes whoosh when i change gear, but i used to get a hiss when when driving at about 3-4k RPM but now it's a high pitched whistle / sqeal instead, very strange

hiss is normal bleed off from the BOV. take the BOV off and put the stock back on. leave the stock end open, do not reconnect it back to the air box. you should hear the same noise. if there is no whistle, your blitz BOV is defective.

dust getting into the bov could be a possibility as have the standard adapter and not the filter adapter on the bov plus i have a cwest headlight cover on. so any dirt/dust that came through the headlight cover would have gone stright into the bov

thats highly unlikely. BOV blows outward with alot of force, about 10PSI of force.

Uless the BOV has a check valve that only allows air to escape from the inake tract, a filter should really be fitted. The BOV is open during vacuum and will allow air to be sucked into the engine when just cruising and off boost.
