weird problem...big weird problem

I started having problems about 3 days before it happened. i was driving and went to make a turn when i pushed in the clutch the car died then it took a sec to start but it started right up. then i had a little hesitation for like 2 minutes then the car ran fine. then it started idling at about 1500 didnt like going below that. Then sometimes it would drop down and be fine others it would drop and want to die then idle at 1500 again. got home played with idle adjustment screw idled fine. no issues for 2 days. Then on my way up to the drag strip the car just died at a light. tried to restart poured out smoke. stopped cranking hopped out to look for a blown fuse or anything that could have caused this nothing under the hood stood there for a sec and all the sudden gas starts pooring out of the turbo i run and turn the key to the off position. after a few minutes of cursing and jumping i get towed home by my...mom start taking it apart pull out fuel system with everything still hooked to the fuel system i have my friend turn the key to the on position all 4 injectors start spraying fuel that explains the the fuel coming out the turbo. unplug the injectors from the harness no more fuel coming out. with the key on my power fc commander screen shows nothing no power no nothing then both fans turn on with out car running, completely cold, a/c button off, fans should no be on motor's got perfect compression only 2500 miles on it, t-78 kit, power fc, 1600cc secondaries 550 primaries blah blah blah does anyone have any clue as to what might have happened why my car doesnt go vroom any helpful info would be nice
thanks,
Derick

You have your power FC tuned for your mods? Or are you running a base map?

Also, check the wiring harness near the power FC, if you have any wires hanging around... they can ground out and cause really odd problems. I know your fuel lines will pressurize when you put the key in the on position, but as for yoiur injectors spraying fuel without the car running, that is odd. The power FC will control the injectos, so it could be an ECU problem. Check your map and make sure the FC didn't reset itself.

Check your wiring and connectors... under the manifold....

Make sure everything is grounded properly.

Check the wiring under your steering wheel also, I had a problem with the ECu not getting power and it was a fried wire under my streering colum from the ignition.

so with the injectors plugged in, they **** fuel but they don't when they're disconnected?

sounds like a bad ecu or wiring problem.

dhahlen do you remember which wire in particluar was the problem
GUITARJUNKIE28-i agree with what u said looking more to narrow down the problem or a place to start looking
dgeesaman- what do u mean by alternator? what would that have to do with my issues?

Thanks everyone for your input,
Derick

Oh, jeez I missed this part: "and all the sudden gas starts pooring out of the turbo i run and turn the key to the off position". I suggested checking the alternator since everything else up to that point seemed to be general electrical misbehavior, but that's obviously not the case here.

I suggest this:
pull the main fuse, and check the resistance of each injector between the terminal at the ECU (4T-4Z I think) and the terminal at the fuse (terminal D?). You should get only .5 to 1.0 Ohm more than the normal resistance for the injector coil itself. In fact, I applied a 9v battery to the injectors and listened for them firing. If you use a stethoscope or a long probe touching the top of the injector, you should be able to hear it click softly when the voltage is applied or removed.

Perhaps one of those two tests will turn up something not working right and give you a direction to continue.
