i have about 700 miles on my rebuilt streetported-motor. and i am running
the base map on my PFC, never had this problem before my rebuild.

my idle settles at around 1100 rpms, but sometimes it will bounce between
800- 1200 for no reason. When i turn the lights on, the idle smooths out to
1100 rpms. it usually bounces rpms when the lights are off. I dont think
it has ever done it with the lights on. Is this a common problem? or is there
some kind of electrical problem?

i think alot of people have odd idol after rebuilds and porting. did you try turning the bleed screw on the throttle body to put the idol back up to normal?

 

What kind of voltage are you seeing on your pfc commander? I'd check all your grounding points, as well as your pos and neg battery terminals.
