Question Radio Headunit Switch -- No Sound?

Just hooked up a headunit from an 02 626 (Bose) and all the switches etc work. Antenna goes up and down, illumination works -- but No Sound. The amps are not being turned on. Anyone know which wires need to go where to make the amps turn on (Bose).

Thanks for any help

Can you connect the "amp control" to other wires in order for it to come on with the radio on button?

Should be able to. Your amps have to be turned on by something, if the head unit ha an six power wire use that.

Question How to Move Pins in the Radio Harness?

OK, I've redone the wiring according to the link above and sure enough, I'm missing the pin that turns on the Bose amps. I have plenty of unused pins, so I'm thinking I could move an unused one to the empty slot. Trouble is, I can't figure out how to remove the pin.

I've opened the harness cover and it shows the wire right there, but I don't want to break the pin or the wire by forcing it out.
Can't find anything on the web about moving pins around.

Anyone know how to remove the pin/wire and reinstall it?

Thanks for any help
