I just purchased my rx7 about a week ago and am now starting to discover some problems it has. I had the compression checked out on the engine so i know the motor is good. The transmission and turbos were both just rebuilt less than 10k miles ago so they should be good.I just changed the oil and brakes and everything else is excellent on the car besides a few problems.

The first problem is a weird grinding in first and second gear that only happens at WOT. It happens at like 3-5k RPMS i think and its not as bad in second gear. It sounds to be coming fromt he center console which makes me think it something with the tranny. What do you think???

The second problem is not nearly as bad. At idle if i just rev up to only about 1.5-3k or so RPM on the way back down to idle its not smooth. I dont really know how to describe it but its just not as smooth as it should be. My guess is some sort of exhaust leak but i really dont know.

The third is the least bad. While driving at low speeds there is a sort of whining/screech that is coming from the front left of the car. what do you think?
