Weird Exhaust Problem.. and also a weird electrical one.
I need some advice on what to check on my exhaust and headunit....
Well, first off I busted the fifth gear syncro and did a gearbox rebuild... and before the rebuild the exhaust is not hiting the tunnel brace at the back and now it is... It shouldnt be linked to PPF alignment right?
Secondly.. I am having a very weird power problem as my headunit would sometimes seems to have lose power overnight and all settings resetted.... the rest of the car is fine.... odometer trip did not go to 0 as in pulling the battery terminal. So it seems it just affect the headunit...
Any thoughts on these two problems guys??
Thanks alot.

Ppf alignment affects the whole driveline. It absolutely can cause the exhaust issue you have now. Loosen it and the motor mounts if you have aftermarket, adjust and retighten.
The head unit issue may be isolated to the head unit being messed up. If there is no other sign of battery power draining to zero then it may be time for a new head unit. Keep in mind stereos get both constant and switched power. Pretty sure the constant is for memory and then it uses the switched power to turn on. Theres some magic in-between or something idk. If the radio isn't holding its settings then the constant power may be dropping off or the headunit has some problem. Both are easy to check

One of the tunnel braces at the back can be installed backwards/upside down, if you do so it will hit. That's most likely what you did. I think there's an arrow or "LH" designation or something. Regardless it's a 5 minute job to unbolt and flip around.

Check to make sure the ignition and 12v power wires on the radio are not reversed. It will work without any issues but the memory will be cleared when it is switch off.
If that is not it then you may need to have the radio checked as mentioned above.
