Question Weird driver's door unlocking behavior

When I purchased my 93 R1, it had an alpine alarm with auto door locking installed. I have been trying to remove it but so far have only taken out bits and peices. Anyway, since my alarm doesn't function any longer, I am using the key to lock and unlock my drivers door.

First question: do all 93 FDs have the feature where the passenger door locks and unlocks when you lock or unlock the driver's door? Is that from the factory or a result of my alarm?

Second question: My driver's door unlocks fine except when I use the key in any other lock first. If I unlock the passenger's door or the hatch then try to unlock the driver's door, it won't unlock. I end up having to climb through the passenger door to unlock the driver's door from the inside. I'm thinking that's gotta be related to my alarm, right?

Last question: Since my wiring looks like crap with all the cutting and splicing from the alarm auto door locks install I'd like to repace the wiring harness. Can anyone point me in the write direction of any diagrams and part numbers for any of the wiring in the driver's side door?

Thanks a lot for the help,

Aaron

First answer: yes all passenger doors unlock when drivers door is locked or unlocked. Theres a micro switch that is made (or not) when the mechanical part is moved by the rod that is controlled by the door lock (Key).
Second answer: doesn't make sense as the doorlock is connected by a rod and if it works at all it can't be broken. Perhaps something in your alarm system is interfering.
Third answer: post in the parts wanted to see if some one has the wiring your looking for. Hope this helps. Jack
