Weird Boost Leak Test

Okay so I did a boost leak test and it barely holds 10psi, but that's only if I have someone hold the oil dip stick down because if I don't then air will just blow out of the dip stick tube. Does this mean my seals are bad? Am I doing the test wrong? Btw I'm not losing any coolant or burning any oil...just trying to figure out why I'm building boost so slow.

Some FDs have no PCV system. If you do have a PCV (I'm pretty sure you'd have to, or else the oil filler would not be connected to the intake charge), I'd check it to make sure it's working.

Your trouble is simple, you pressurise the inlet of the primary turbo for this test. The two vacuum on the primary turbo elbow must be unplugged and cap to the elbow to do this test because one of this vacuum is plug on the oil filler neck for crankcase ventillation.

^^^thanks...I didn't know those one of those two hoses were connected to the oil filler. I'll do that and see if I can find any other leaks, thanks again.
