Is the weather affecting performance?
I have noticed that ever since its been a bit hotter around here in San Diego, the hotter days produce a much slower and less responsive ride that is noticeable in comparison to a cold evening with a completely cold motor. So...
Start ups
Cold Motor: Let it warm up a bit, car runs great for the entire drive
Warm Motor: Idle stumbles more, feels less responsive, less audible turbo spool.
Running errands with a lot of stopping the motor, letting it sit in the sun in some parking lot produces the worst results. Starting back up, the car bogs down a lot, seemingly feels very very hot inside the car, and just doesn't feel powerful. I wish I had a boost gauge or water temp gauge to somehow monitor this, but I don't. I don't have a commander for my Power FC either, so I have no way of telling what is happening.
Is it the intake temps that are creating this power loss?
