Water Temperature Sensor and Gauge = no Continuity

Is there a particular place were the continuity of the water temperature sensor harness plug up to the gauge where continuity would most likely be lost?

Where does the wire change from Y/W starting at the sensor harness to GY at the interior gauge?

Are there any other places where these 2 wires can be accessed?

I have checked harness X-15, but am having some trouble locating harness X-14, can anyone describe what it looks like and were to locate it exactly? Does this green circle show its location?

I have checked every component I can, and all seem to work as per spec, but the gauge is non operational. (despite its obvious limitations) I wish to have all parts of my little car operational.

Thanks for any help on the matter.

the wire from temp sensor y/w connects to the x-14 dash. the x-14 is the one below you circled from the picture above. also x-14 is connected with the EM harness( engine harness).
did you do a jdm engine swap or using another type of engine management?
