water temp sensor part # (for gauge, not ecu)

i'm having trouble finding the part number for the water temp sensor that screws into the side of the block.

when we were doing the rebuild we somehow lost the one that controls the gauge, so we just had to cap it for the time being.

i believe there are two different water temp sensors - one for the gauge, one for the ecu - because my PCF reads water temp, but my gauge is not working.

does anyone have the part number for this part?

thanks

Call Ray at Malloy Mazda..... 1-888-533-3400

Just ordered one today. Not sure the part # but he will have it on hand. The sensor for the ECU is the 2 prong on the backside of the water filler.

Hell, I'd just find a used one. They never go bad and I'm sure there are people out there with plenty that will get you one for cheap.

You are right I was responding to the old post before yours. Sorry. Call Ray; he probably doesn't even need to reference his books...
