Water temp light!!! Need help!

My water temp light is coming on and beeping. All fluids are good to go. Any ideas on what the prob is and how to fix it? It's driving me crazy!

If you are talking about your stock gauge, it's the coolant level light/beep. Burp your coolant system, there is likely pockets of air still in there. That, or your sensor is bad.

Prey that it is just burping to be done, as a new temp sensor will cost you $44, through the relatively cheap Malloy Mazda.

Coolant is good and burping was done again....any other ideas? If I get a new sensor, it will take some time. How can I get this thing to just shut the beep up? Can I bypass it somehow? Thanks all !!

its just the low level sensor. ground out the wire and the beeping will stop.

make sure you keep a close eye on your coolant/water level after you bypass it though.

Thanks Suganuma! I'll give it a try! Do you know where the wire is?
