Water Temp Again

Just had a Greddy FMIC installed. I'm seeing water temp up to 120 C now on 37C day according to my Greddy water temp guage but the weird thing is the stock guage stays at exactly half point. No coolant spill no boiling. Previously, when the Greddy guage reads 110C the coolant tank will start to overflow and stock guage goes beyond half mark. The Greddy guage is new. Any explanation apart from a f**ked up guage?

the stock gauge moves around 117 C (ask me how I know). Your greddy gauge will show higher temps than what the stock temp sensor really shows. PM Rynberg for details.

Expect to have very high water temps since the FMIC is blocking the radiator.

I'm just curious how come water's not boiling over even at 120C now. Before the FMIC installation, the stock guage rockets almost to red when the Greddy shows 110C. Now it just stays put in the middle.

Any likely problem with the car running at 100 to 110C all the time?
