Water sprayer idea
Okay, so driving around today (a lot of stoplight-to-stoplight) i noticed my intake temps getting pretty ridiculously high. So, i thought about how to increase my intercooler efficiency w/o buying a new intercooler. (stock intercooler- upgrading in the spring time)
I was thinking a simple boost switch set to... 5psi
mated to a cannibalized windshield washer reservoir, pump & nozzle. drill a few holes in the surrounding plastic for drainage (not the end tanks obviously) and an LED or a lit toggle to indicate on/off. EDIT: maybe even a momentary override switch for traffic.
ergo- intercooler sprayer that is cheaper and much easier to build than... for example the cusco system.
thoughts?

Just a little (sarcastic) you should have been able to search up something in the archives as it's been done. You realy won't see much bennifit in around town use (stop light to stop light) but it does bring the temp down pretty well after a track run on the cool down drive back to the pits. For what your thinking the tank you'd need will have to be quite large (much more than a washer resivoir).
