Question Water Sound

I just noticed the sound of water moving around some where from under the dashboard on the passenger side. I kinda sounds like when you drink a whole lot of water and when you move around thats what it sounds like. Do any of you have an idea of what it can be? The noise is pretty loud. Any feedback will help.

Ok.possibilities I can think off. My car did that for a while (i thought my seals were about to go) Turned out I have a slight leak in my coolant hose to the turbos. So after awhile, I lose a bit of coolant from there, and air enters the pinhole. I had to *burp* the system everynow and then until I got the coolant hose replaced. Another possibilty is bad radiator or AST caps. Or the worse is a seal going bad. I was test driving a '93 at a used dealer and it made the same noises. 4 months later, I saw the same car at my mechanics for a rebuild.

Thanks for your input Redline. Another thing I forgot to add was that when I rev the engine it sounds like it swishes around even more. I think that my seal is going bad because I'm statring to see some brownish, black slime in my coolant. Anyone else have any input. Oh yeah and who is your mechanic Redline?

Yep. Mine did the same. Louder swishing sound when revved. As for the black slimy sludge, I had it in the overflow tank. Thats sometimes off the coolant hoses. When some hoses are replaced, some of them seem to leave a coat of black sludgy stuff. But the other thing is that the car I test drove had the same sounds. When revved, slushing louder. I wouldn't jump to conclusions right away. Best way is to get a compression test done. My mechanics name is Jeff and Alan. They work @ Rotary Power in Gardena (Los Angeles).

Yeah I don't want to jump to conclusions but I did get the cooling system flushed and preasured check 3 times in the last month. The sludge keeps coming back. Maybe I should replace all the hoses first before I trip out. I talked to Jeff from rotary power yesterday and hes thinks that my seal is going bad. He said it would be about 2 weeks before he can work on my dar because they are so busy. Damn I'm glad I have an extended warranty in case it is the seal. If I do have to get the engine rebuilt, I'll just have to get it ported and 3mm apex seals in it since its out. well thanks again.
