I checked the carpet under the passenger glove box, doesn't seem like the heater core is leaking.
Just did a good coolant burp today, I'm pretty positive there are no air in the system. The sound only happens after I rev past 3krpm, I can hear it clearly inside the cockpit with windows up, otherwise it's pretty hard to hear. I'm beginning to think it's something else, tranny fluid slushing perhaps?

I attached this thing to my filler neck http://www.drivewerks.com/catalog/Sh...CAT591_pg2.htm, then I let the the car idle with heater on until it reached 82deg celsius, there was no bubble.

I too have noticed that sound in my 93 touring. I had the engine rebuilt in the summer and did not notice it. Now that I think about it the sound did start appearing when cold weather hit. Engine has less than 3000 miles and I have to add coolant (1 cup or so) every couple of weeks. Hope rings aren't going.
