Water leak

Hi, I got water coming down from the AST and I do not notice any leak in the system. Can anyone help me? "Add coolant" buzzer is kinda annoying. After a while, water temperature is warming dangerously. My car has 100 % water (No prestone at all)

Car is running #1.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

Is it a stock AST or aftermarket? Have you check to make sure the cap hasn't failed?

coolant leak

If its a stock oem one then its prob cracked. My aftermarket one started leaking from the rivet in the centre of the cap. Easy fix.

I too would look at the cap and see if it is the culprit. And RIX-7 has a good point, the stock ASTs tend to get brittle with age.

Aftermarket caps leak, stock units crack. Also I wouldnt recommend running pure water but do what you like. Also check to make sure all the clamps are tight on all the connections. It is a simple fix and not worth losing an engine over and that is exactly what is going to happen if you let the temps get up.

roule pas ton auto avant d'avoir réparé le probleme! dès que l'aiguille du water temp gauge d'origine quitte le milieu, ca devient dangereux....

mais ton moteur était pas deja sauté ??
