Water to air Intercoolers? who uses them ?
I was looking in to these,

Has anyone used or using these ? being so compact and the fact you could run 2 in parallel I thought would be very advatageous ? not to mention compact ?
though it was a good alternative to a V mount, but have never seen any fd3s with this setup,

someone did one DIY a while back, do a search and you should find the thread on it. The guy got pretty good IAT temps IIRC, I dont remember what the general consensus was about them, but i think it was relatively positive.

I ran an air to water on my drag car which was a dsm for a long time. Around town just messing around you'll see higher intake temps than an air to air but if you have an ice box on the other hand, much better but only till the ice is melted. I would see about 10 deg below ambient.
I still have my Innovative air to water and a fluidyne heat exhanger, miezere pump, and ice box I will sell ya, if your interested I can post pics.
I would reccomend buying a GOOD core. Cheap ones have been known to leak water into the intake over time.
