Water/air intercooler

What you guys think about it , I'm looking into a new intercooler set up , kinda v-mount style , and I wanted to try a water/air set up ... But with all the heat going up in the engin bay I'm afraid to heat soak and fail :/

I'm sure they can be really effective but I don't think they come close to the cooling you get with water injection combined with an air to air.
