Wastegate problems?

problem: Why at idle the car seems fine, but when you rev it into boost range(3500rpm-higher) the car runs like crap and my boost gauge only see's 1-2psi. Could there be a crack in my turbo assembly or around the wastegate to cause these problems?

Thanks,

Andrew

If you are running on stock twins there could be a shitload of possibilities. Your turbos could be going out, there can be a crack in teh manifold, you probably have a boost leak from worn IC hoses, your vacuum lines could be jacked, etc....

Well to make things a little clearer, I'm non-seq., have checked all vac. lines, beautiful manifold, and turbos have 47k miles on them.
