Wastegate/engine removal Q/problem
So this is my first time removing an engine and I keep running into problems.
It seems as though when the previous ovner put the motor in he decided it would be a good idea to weld the nuts holding the wastegate on right to the flange. I thought no big deal, I can remove it from the manifold, but after some effort I found no way to remove those bolts because they are allen key and their position is impossible to get to with that tool.
So my question is this, should I just hack the pipe with a sawzall? and if so should I cut as close to the wastegate as possible, or where it meets the downpipe?
First pic is the briliant welding, second is where it meets the DP.

If I had an air chisel I might give it a shot, but the workingspace is so limited. Cutting it inbetween would probably work best, then I'm not stuck with a nub on either end to work with later.Chances are, I will be getting a new wastegate in the near future so having to just reweld the pipe until then wouldn't kill me.
I'll be giving this a shot in the next few days, When it is out I will get a better pic of the geat welding.
