Wastegate + Blitz EBC issues.
So ive been having a wierd issue for a while now, Ive read up a ton on EBC and wastegates and keep seeing you should be able to at least double spring pressure with a boost controller.
I am running this wastegate http://imgur.com/gHlucwVconnected to an older style Blitz boost controller http://www.jankuyado.com/TM/BAR1749/PA191676.JPG which only has a gain option on the unit, as well as the "low & high" **** which I assume are duty cycle ? The problem im having is im currently running the (15.6-20psi) bar spring. If I turn the High *** all the way to the right it will barely reach the spring target, usually opened full well before the rating of the spring around 13psi, if I turn it down it opens sooner the more I go down which I thought wasnt popssible as from what I read I always saw the pressure will not go below the designated spring rating ?. I am wondering why the pressure is not exceeding the spring as the way Im seeing it the EBC is doing nothing but letting me open the wastegate sooner ? Pardon my awesome paint skills but this is how I have it plumbed at the moment and it seems correct! http://imgur.com/yH2DqHT
Any help would be appreciated as its driving me nuts, I do have a 20-24psi spring I just bought that I have no put in yet. I had the car running previously with an adjustment bolt on the wastegate which compressed the spring to about 21.5psi @ 85% injector duty cycle with water meth, which is roughly my target. The bolt now broke so I thought id finally try to figure it out. Running a streetport w/ single Borger warner s366.

If you run a line from your compressor outlet directly to the side port of your external wastegate (no boost controller at all), it should reach your spring pressure as your maximum boost. So in your case, remove the boost controller from the system. cap off the port to the inlet side of the EBC.
If you can't get to your spring pressure with pressure to the side port of the gate and the EBC removed from the system, you probably have an exhaust leak or some other mechanical issue.
