Thumbs up Wash + Wax + Sunshine == nice pics (56k - go make a sammich)

I decided to wash/wax my car during my lunch break today. It was also a perfect day in SoCal, thus the pics. I used one layer of "Z Best Wax" which I bought from a trade show. It is easy to apply and wipe off, which is why I was able to do it in such a short amount of time as compared to regular waxes. Enjoy!

Damn a wash and wax during your lunch break? How long is your break?

Even if i try to do a half *** job on my wash and wax, its still a good 1 1/2 hours. lol

But it looks great nevertheless.

Car looks great, nice to see San Diego folk out and about with their FDs. It would look better if it were lowerd just a bit though no worries, my car is on stock suspension at the moment too.

I work fulltime 5 days a week (45hrs+) and am a fulltime student. On the days I don't work, I have a few hours inbetween class. TY for the nice words.

Oh yes, I want to lower my car as well, but with the stock suspension+R1 lip, it scrapes a lot.

It rained on my car the night after I waxed it. Good thing the freeways were open and I was able to "blow dry" the car at the top of 4th gear.

Question about the rims, are they ASA? If so, where did you get the center caps

No, they are from Speedy. They are an Aussie company which makes street/race rims.

I forgot the exact price, but it was something really cheap for two bottles (under $20).
I have a bunch of other waxes that give a much better shine, but this wax just is really easy to use and gives a decent shine.

guess youre using armorall of something cheap lol... try 303 Aerospace Protection... a bit expensive but the best ever when it comes to protecting plastic and leather (well it doesnt condition leather but it protects it from UV). lasts a long time too, about a month or more on exterior body trim (last even longer interior)... im not sure if its avaible in auto parts stores though... maybe you can get some at 303products.com iirc.

Thanks for the comment!
I've been out of this forum for a while since my FD was down from November of '05 until February '06. Also, I have been working five days a week (45hrs+) along with fulltime school on the days that I "have off". Busy is the main reason, hehe.
