Malloy Mazda pulled a Warranty history report on my FD. Assembly date: 06/08/92, Retail Date: 07/07/93. FD were slow movers in those years. Somewhere along the way the Motor Trend import car of the year got applied.

 

Maybe it was on a slow boat from China
