Why is it that when i start my car when it is already warm it starts up like ****. (the actual turnover sounds like it doesnt want to start). Even the idle is choppy at first. But after i go around the block it is fine. The car runs strong and vacuum is great...this only happens when warm. It is embarrasing when someone is in it...it only has 30k miles.

thanks for link....i read it. If my motor is going bad with only 30k miles i will cry. I take such good care of it.
If it is my motor what can i do to check it...get a compression test done? Wouldnt there be other symptons as well. The just pulls so strong!

Does anyone think that it could have something to do with running 9s all around. I just had the 30k scheduled maintenance done and we did all 9s.

 

It can never hurt to do a compression test. I'm sure there are other symptoms, however, I'm not that sure of what they all are. Are the 30k miles original? Or rebuild? Not that it should make that big of a difference... but 30k over that amount of time, means the car hasn't been driven much... which can lead to problems...or so I've heard. Anway.. I've also been told that the warm start problem is very common, and may be nothing to get alarmed about.

My car HATES starting when it's warm. Perfect compression, no smoke, no problems. 60k miles. I guess you can never be really sure.

 

30k original..i bought the car may 2000 with 15356 miles...yeah it sat alot.
