Virginians, want to get rid of front plates?

I go this off the vette forum!

On January 9, House Bill No. 280 bill was introduced in the Virginia General Assembly . This Bill would change the number of license plates for VA residents, from 2 to 1, for passenger cars. If passed, it will become effective 7/1/2002. You may want to contact your representative to support this bill, since we all know our corvettes look better without the front tag!!

If you're a corvette owner, you're in the wrong section. The "General Automotive" section is over there...--->

Actually, I'm just joking. FEEL THE LOVE. Anyway, good idea to contact your rep about the license plate thing if you are a VIRGIN(ian). Having to have 2 plates sucks ***, and there's no real good reason for it. If cops want to catch you, they should do it the right way, not the sissy license plate writing down way

Thumbs up

Thanks alot for posting this! I haven't run a front plate on my BMW for almost a year now. Been lucky and never gotten a ticket.

I will certainly be writing a letter or even calling my rep. All you Virginians who complain about this silly law - this is the time to take action!
